Hello and welcome to Smart Home Automated. My name is David and I am passionate about technology and specifically Smart Home Automation. I created this site to share how anyone can automate their home one device at a time.
I’ve been in the technology field for more than twenty years and enjoy sharing what I’ve learned. Practical Home Automation is affordable and easy to accomplish. Using off the shelf, plug and play smart devices anyone can create the smart home of their dreams.
I currently have more than 40 smart devices in my home. These include lights, plugs, switches, a robotic vacuum, cameras, leak detectors, thermostats, door locks, and voice assistants.
